Hall Rental
The Geneva American Legion Post is available to rent for your special events. The Banquet Hall is located at 22 South 2nd Street in downtown Geneva, IL.
Hall Rental COVID-19
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created an unprecedented and difficult situation, especially for those who are planning an event. Under guidance from the State of Illinois and executive orders from the Governor’s office, events may take place with a number of restrictions. The rental contract will identify the specific restrictions and guidelines from the State of Illinois that all renters must comply with rules.

Built in 1949 our function hall is capable of handling all of your event needs . We typically provide seating for 90 max people at tables and chairs placed around a small dance floor. All proceeds for the hall rental and beverage service go toward supporting the American Legion and local Veterans.
The American Legion does not offer catering services, so you are free to use a caterer of your choice. We have a full bar ( available on request only ), with plenty of refrigerated storage space available and a large ice maker.

Amenities
Free parking is provided, and we offer amenities that include a large refrigerator and serving bar. You may bring additional items, such as public address systems, platforms, stages, video projectors and monitors, as long as there are no safety hazards, the items have been pre-approved by the American Legion prior to the event and promptly removed after. You can use a caterer of your choice.
Private Events
The Banquet Hall has hosted weddings/receptions, birthday, anniversary, and block parties, as well as business meetings and corporate events.
Fees
Exact rental fees depend on the day of the week, number of hours, number of guests, services required, and other factors. To receive an estimate, please complete and submit the following Rental Application. This will give us the information we need to provide you with accurate details for your event.
Alcohol
The American Legion Banquet has a full beer, wine, and liquor license. Renters are not permitted to bring in their own beer, spirits or other beverages, as per the rental contract. (cash only bar).
